Hi! Really interesting presentation. It was not clear to me how did you analyze the Pd concentration on the effluent liquid samples collected after leaving the column? Did you also apply X-ray florescence/transmission spectroscopy, or did you use another instrumentation methodology, such as an ICP-MS? Thanks for clarifying this point.
Hi! Thanks the work was really interesting to do too! For the effluent samples we digested them with 1mL 18N nitric acid, the black Pd nanoparticles dissolve quickly resulting in a bright yellow solution and we then used ICP-OES to measure the Pd concentration. Hopefully that is clear!
