The 10^13 Ohm amplifier technology has been introduced about 10 years ago, but the precision that you have shown has not been demonstrated until recently. What were the most significant additional improvements in the instrument design or in the measurement procedures that made the current level of precision possible?

Following on a bit from Yuri's question, when it comes to installing 10^13 ohm amplifiers onto older model TRITONs how compatible are they with the older instrumentation and/or software? Or is an XT required for this type of set up.
