I just recently completed a PhD at Curtin University under the supervision of Associate Professor Fred Jourdan. Before coming to Australia I worked in NASA’s Center for Isotope Cosmochemistry & Geochronology TIMS laboratory at the Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, Texas. My research at JSC research focused on the development of a chromatography method to extract and isolate Ca from a variety of different materials. Prior to this I completed a Master of Science at Boise State University under the direction of Dr. Mark Schmitz and Dr. C.J. Northrup utilizing high precision U/Pb CA-TIMS zircon geochronology with structural field observations to determine the depositional and deformational history of a forearc basin within the North American Cordillera. Currently I am Research Associate at the John de Laeter Centre conducting chromatography and analyses of various isotopic systems including Sm-Nd, Pb, Re-Os, and PGE isotopes as well as collaborating with the Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA) to date many dyke swarms throughout Western Australia by the pyroxene argon geochronology technique.
