Do you have a sense of the time scale of the weathering generation of the hemimorphite, and do you see differences in the amount of hemimorphite vs depth in the chat piles?

Thanks Sarah for these very interesting data. What are the thermodynamic conditions (s.l. P, T, fluid activity...) prevailing during sphalerite / hemimorphite crystalisation and what does it imply in terms of Ge oncentration processes ? Any chances you could get the original ore and metallurgical residues/solution at different stages of the processing of the ore to better understand whether this concentration is a consequence of the mining processing ?
