great talk...Is there any evidence of changing community composition that could account for some of these changes?

Excellent talk. The pH decrease in the mid-bay surface water (0.2 pH units) is induced by global driver (atm-CO2 increase) and local driver (River nutrient reduction). So should these same drivers lead to a decrease or an increase in bottom water pH? If it is a pH decrease, should it be less than the surface pH decrease? -wjc
