What are the sources of arsenic in your study area? Which source do you think dominates the average background arsenic concentration?
The sources are mostly natural. Our current research indicates that Mio-Pliocene to Quaternary volcanic rocks and hydrothermal activities are the main natural sources of As in the region.

You mention that you took samples in dry and wet season. Do you find a difference in arsenic concentrations between seasons?
In water, there were only subtle differences in the As concentrations between seasons (in 2019).
