Thank you for the presentation. What minerals are the REE hosted in? I had assumed phosphates but you P numbers look quite low for it to be in phosphates. Also how strong of metamorphism do you mean when you say "underwent strong metamorphism" green schist facies?
Thank you for your questions. Q: What minerals are the REE hosted in? A: REY in the Kunimiyama umber exists with Mn (maybe be bementite). On the other hand, the main host mineral of REY in the Aki umber and the Cyprus umber is apatite. Some amount of REY in the Aki umber also exists with a silicate and Fe-Mn oxide/hydroxide. Q: how strong of metamorphism do you mean when you say "underwent strong metamorphism" green schist facies? A: The metamorphic mineral assemblages of the Kuminiyama greenstone, which is a wall-rock of the Kunimiyama umber, indicates the metamorphic condition of typical prehnite-pumpellyite facies.
