Could these processes have occurred elsewhere in the solar system or are there conditions special to the hadean Earth that are needed?

The amount of CH4 seems to saturate after ~1000 hours. Does it mean that reaction reach equilibrium in the chamber or that Fe-oxides on the surface of Fe metal grain prevent further reaction?

Do you have comments on the amount of CH4 produced by impact events compared with the other sources of CH4?
