The amount of chromate adsorbed as a function of pH increased significantly in the slightly acidic region (5.5 - 7). Do you know the reason? Was it not possible to measure the adsorption for the two zeolites Na-P1 below pH 5.5? Are there experimental limitations or are the experiments planned for the future?

Below pH 5.5. chromium occure in the form of HCrO4-. Speciation of Cr was important when planning the experiment. In addition, the purpose of the experiments was to assess the impact of surface modification of zeolites on sorption efficiency. That is why only some contditions of pH were choosen for experiments.
