Am I understanding correctly that your method does not involve measurement of the amount of potassium either directly (as in the original 40K-40Ar method) or indirectly (as in the 40Ar/39Ar method). How do you calculate the age without having the measure of the abundance of the parent radionuclide? What assumption does your calculation involve?

Would this technique be limited to single grain material thus with high K content or do you see the ability to apply this technique on mineral populations?
