Minako Hashiguchi is a postdoctoral researcher at Astromaterials Science Research Group (ASRG), Institute space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). She obtained her PhD from Hokkaido University under the supervision of Professor Hisayoshi Yurimoto. Her research interest is extraterrestrial organic materials, which record the evolution of early solar system. She has especially focused on the organic materials with extreme isotope anomaly, and investigated them using mainly secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS).
