Details for: Amitava Chatterjee


I am currently working as an institute-funded postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Earth Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), Mumbai, India. I completed my Ph.D. research in September 2017 in Geology from Hiroshima University, Japan. The recent topics of my researches are to study the high-grade metamorphic rocks of peninsular India. The research is ongoing since October 2018 with the collaboration of the Korean Basic Science Institute and Chonbuk National University, South Korea. My first postdoctoral research program was completed in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Chonbuk National University, South Korea. During my one-year stay (September 2017-September 2018) at the Chonbuk National University, I studied the high-pressure metamorphic rocks of southern India and the Korean peninsula.
