I am a PhD candidate with the Environmental Geochemistry and Oceanography Research Group at the University of Hong Kong. My research uses a variety of stable isotope systems and marine geological archives to explore phenomena related to climate, ocean circulation, marine biogeochemistry and environmental change on different timescales. My current interests include 1) reconstructing the physical mechanisms responsible for regulating the strength of the Atlantic meridional overturning circulation (AMOC) throughout past warm periods, 2) characterizing the effects of a modern-day AMOC slow-down on the chemical oceanography of the North Atlantic and 3) investigating past and present environmental variability in marine ecosystems.
