I am a first year Ph.D. student at Boston University studying coastal biogeochemistry in the Fulweiler Lab. Currently, I am researching how anthropogenic stressors such as nutrient loading and climate change are affecting the relationship of between the sediment-water interface in the Long Island Sound, NY. I hope to look at similar sediment-water interactions to understand the cycling of nitrogen in deep sea sediments.
