Dear Dr Tan, How many spot analyses did you do under each gas flow setting? Figures 8 and 9 seem to show different numbers of analyses.
Actually, in this work for zircon 91500, 8 in total including 4 spots with 91500 as calibrator and 4 spots with 91500 as unknown. In Figure 8, we present the influence of gas flow matching on the whole assay sequence. It's clear that the bias between calibrators and the unknown samples caused by the non-matching gas flows. But in Figure 9, we just give the results for unknown samples, which is also clear poorer accuracy and precision under the non-matching gas flow settings.
