Hi Joel, thanks for sharing your new method and offering a link to the source code. It seems like an interesting technique that's worth exploring. I have a few questions for you: 1) Does your statistical analysis allow you to calculate the relative proportions of each sediment source to the basin samples? It seems like that's where you want to go with the method, which would be really useful for DZ provenance studies. 2) It seems like there is a fair bit of uncertainty in the source distributions that are generated from the NMF method. If you don't have source age distributions to validate the results, how reliable are the results? Thanks!
