The siderite and talc detections are very interesting. Do they correspond to veins or other alteration textures?

When do you think iron oxidized in the GT unit, during deposition/initial alteration, or at a later time? Siderite, hematite, and Fe(III)-rich smectites cannot form together, they require different redox conditions.
