Hi Marco, that abstract is really interesting, shame you did not manage to upload the talk on time. If these metasomatic fluids exist everywhere in the upper asthenospheric mantle, what is the reason for partial melt formation involving those metasomatised source rocks in specific regions? Or do you think that there are small degree partial melts everywhere, and it is merely due to tectonism that they make it up to the surface in some areas - cf. Ian Smith's abstract in this session?
