You show that the concentration of HREE in apatite is higher in calcite carbonatite than in dolomite carbonatite. What is the difference between apatites of type C1, C2 and C3 in calcite carbonatite and which substitution mechanism causes the incorporation of REE in apatite? Is it the britholite type substitution or the belovite type substitution? And is this type of substitution the same for all apatite types or are there differences?

Since most of the REE minerals are certainly of hydrothermal origin, what do you think is the source of REE? Do you think that the mineralizing fluid was already enriched in REE, or do you think that there is a remobilization of REE from primary minerals such as apatite?
